Program Overview

St. Peter’s University Bachelor’s in Business Administration focuses on the functional areas of business – including management, marketing, economics, finance, accounting, law, and statistics. It is designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation in core business functions including general business administration, accounting, finance, project management, information technology, human resources, marketing, international business, logistics and organizational behavior. These competencies are flexible enough that upon graduation, careers in a variety of different fields may be available.

The entire degree program can be completed in just one year and all coursework is offered entirely online, making this the perfect option for students in all locations.

The full cost of the degree is $20,000. This covers the cost of college courses ($18,000) and required exams (approximately $2,000). Students who are eligible for financial aid (FAFSA) may receive scholarships to cover the full cost of the college courses. Your exact tuition amount will depend on your transfer credits and financial aid eligibility.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be completed online at this link. SPU students must submit the FAFSA, and MSV students are strongly recommended to do so. Be sure to complete the correct year’s application.

What is a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology?

Used as a stand-alone degree or as a stepping-stone for entry into myriad graduate programs, the 120-credit Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree can be used to gain entry into our prestigious array of graduate programs, including the MS in Education & Special Education (Mt. St. Vincent), MSW in Social Work (Wurzweiler), and MPS in Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA (Manhattanville College). It can also be used to apply to a wide variety of other graduate programs such as Psychology, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, School Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, School Leadership, Law, Marriage & Family Counseling, Nutrition, Accounting, MBA, Nursing, and more.

Among the five oldest universities in New York City, UMSV offers more than 70 nationally recognized programs, including a full array of majors and minors in the sciences and mathematics, the humanities, arts, and social sciences, and professional preparation in accounting, business, communication, education, and nursing.

2. St. Peter’s University (SPU) is a highly ranked university in NJ, featuring an outstanding Psychology department under the leadership of Maryellen Hamilton, Professor and Chair of Psychology. Will this degree be accepted by other universities?

Both institutions are regionally accredited, which means that their degrees are accepted by graduate programs nationwide. Students have used the bachelor’s degree earned at UMSV and SPU for admittance into master’s programs in a wide variety of colleges. How long will it take to earn the degree?

This degree can be completed in as few as three semesters (11 months).

Will my Yeshiva credits count toward this degree?

Yes. Up to 36 Yeshiva credits may be accepted toward the degree program.

What if I still did not decide on a graduate field or program?

The extreme versatility and accelerated nature of this degree make it an ideal choice for a student who has yet to decide on a master’s program. Many students only choose a career path upon concluding this highly respected, yet affordable undergraduate program that is accepted by premier colleges across the USA.
