YSZ High School for Girls is seeking an Art teacher to teach an introductory Art survey course to freshmen, as well as lead Creative Design, Photography, and/or Graphic Design clubs. The Art teacher will support talented students in building portfolios to qualify for specialized post high school art programs.

The Art teacher should be a creative, dynamic and inspired educator who is passionate about inspiring each students’ artistic nature and capabilities. Applicants should be eager to incorporate art into all aspects of the school culture – from interdisciplinary classes and after school activities to school productions and field trips. Qualifications and skills:

- Creative, original, and inventive thinker.

- Warm, enthusiastic educator committed to a growth mindset.

- Open to or trained in student-centered learning techniques.

- Skilled in multimodal art forms.

- Educational background in Art and Art history.

- MA in Art and/or Art Education preferred.

- 1-3 years teaching experience preferred.
