YSZ High School for Girls is seeking a Science teacher. Multiple options may be available, including NYS Regents Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Forensics, as the school offers a wide array of academic electives.

The ideal candidate will be a creative and dynamic educator who can facilitate academic growth, deep critical thinking and intellectual curiosity. We seek educators who value collaboration, professional learning and community.

The candidate should be comfortable teaching with technology and have ample experience in differentiating instruction.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Warm, enthusiastic educator committed to a growth mindset.

- Open to or trained in student-centered learning techniques.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- BA in Education or Science.

- MA in Education and/or Science Education preferred.

- 1-3 years teaching experience preferred.
